2009 – 2011– Museum of the Tower of David in Jerusalem

Jerusalem historyThis Museum is situated at one of the two major Jerusalem’s gates, the Jaffa Gate. Only 20 years old, the Museum looked already old fashioned and needed a complete re-vamp ! Our agency won the international competition (organized in 2008). But subsequently, tensions with the Curator prevented us to continue our collaboration in spite of a strong support for our project from V.D ., the sponsor of the project. Probably the local tensions in Israël exacerbated the potential conflicts between history and politics…as this Museum was to tell Jerusalem's story.
